Just get them. If youre searching for comfortable headphones that gently hug your ears. Unsure what a lot of the kvetching about "plastic noise" is all about in some of the lower rated reviews; once they're on my head, they do not move around enough to make noise. The earphone component covers the ears totally and are completely comfortable. My opinion: You will find draw backs, however for about $20 they work pretty well and serve you for a while even with heavy use.
They do sound like a more costly set.
The quality of sound for gaming and songs (non-professional) and films can't be beat until you get upto the $250+ budget range! I'm happy with them. Hope that helps, but even top quality mp3 files sound pitched with squeekiness on these wireless mp3 head phones. I've dealt with painful headphones that pinch hairs and therefore are too tight and have earcups too small.
I'm able to put on these indefinitely with no discomfort. So so so thoughtfully designed keeping security in mind for the consumer. The film option felt like it supplied a deeper audio quality so I usually used that. Remember that the cord on these is actually long. You shouldn't be swayed either way by the "sound mode" feature on these Sony headphones.
The bass, the treble, the highs and lows all come through obviously. Not really a reason to not get it, but you have been warned.
I heard very little distinction when I switched the modes on the headphones from "movie" to "music." I asked the individual if she was charging the right price when I tried them out as I was astonished that something below $30 was this good. My head is a touch small so I was happy they fit pretty much. Truly great headphones for the value, but can not seem to get them to not make my ears hurt while I put on my glasses.
The sennheiser at loud volumes sounds irritating. With the phones off your head, pull the earpieces apart and you will begin to see the topBand "square off."
These headphones are excellent! Outside sounds could be heard easily. Upon arrival, I tried them out and used them for around an hour or so. These appear big and bulky but they're very light. They are great headphones.
