Different Aspects of a Mobile Phone

By Victor Brieks

It is quite a daunting task to select the best cell phone as the different cell phones come with a wide array of mind boggling features. Smartphones provide a complex array of features but one must consider many factors before zeroing in on the right one that is suitable for you.

One has to consider factors such as battery life, size, internet access and myriad other features. Your requirements will play a vital role in comparing the features and deciding on the right one. You can narrow down your choices by comparing the different brands or narrowing it down to makes of various countries. First of all decide if you want a small, average, or a big phone. This aspect can be compared first, as some want a compact one to keep in their pockets while elderly people may prefer a bigger one to see the features more clearly.

You can also compare cell phone features by seeing whether the phone has a touchscreen or not. Many of the smartphones nowadays are provided with one such as the iPhone or the Samsung Instinct. You can just click on the menu items with your finger or alternatively, with the stylus provided with the instrument. Here you can type text by using a virtual keyboard. Such cell phones have a large display as they dont need a physical keyboard.

The Wi-Fi feature provided in some phones could also prove to be a point to compare cell phones. You can freely connect to the internet with the help of a wireless connection that is free of course. Some phones can be charged with a USB cable and if this feature is provided then the cell phone can be recharged easily on a computer just by connecting it and files can be moved or the list in the phone book can be updated.

An important cell phone feature to compare would be a clamshell type, bar type or slider cell phones. Clamshell or flip phones protect the keyboard and are for small size phones. The Slider ones have a top part that slides and then reveals the keypad. The bar phones are those without a slider or a flip cover and are generally slimmer but here the keypad needs locking or else the keys may get pressed accidentally. These are some ways of comparing cell phone features.
