LG Optimus One Targets The Right Market

By Frank T. Newcrest

It is easy to understand why the LG Optimus One is popular and how Android apps play a role in this hysteria. The phenomenon known as downloadable apps has taken the world by storm, especially for those with smartphones. Tens of thousands of apps have been created over the years for Android phones, most of which can be downloaded for free. But that is merely one feature that can be found with this phone. This is a surprisingly comfortable phone to handle from an ergonomic perspective.

The Optimus One, although ideal for easy use and holding, was not necessarily designed for everyone's aesthetic ideologies. Anyone who purchases this phone will understand that it does a very good job of basic operations inherent to all smartphones.

We recently wrote an article about spying on text messages and this felt like a good subject to cover after it.

The design of the phone will cater to people that need a quality smartphone. Anyone that enjoys the Android operating system will like this smartphone from LG.

Not long ago the original version of this phone, called the Optimus, was created and released. One notable upgrade to the smartphone was the super fast processor that Google was responsible for implementing. Don't worry! This smartphone also has the ability to take pictures of your loved ones and capture videos that you can later upload. Taking pictures requires external lighting with this particular smartphone. If you are content with an average display, then the pixelation ratio should be adequate for your needs. The Optimus One has wireless tethering capability that comes standard which allows for a full range of options and features. Of course that means WiFi and Bluetooth capability which is almost expected by the market, anymore. Other cool features include a digital compass, a standard accessory accelerometer and a GPS receiver. If memory is important to you on your smartphone, this phone has less than 200 MB which may not be enough. The battery life for this phone is acceptable and can provide enough energy for most of your daily tasks. You can probably expect an overnight charge to last an entire day.

You will always know where you are as long as you have your GPS navigation system up and running. Finding your way home, or to a friend's house, has never been easier. But considering the roughly 24 hour charge factor, this phone will not be the ideal for remote trips away from a charger. You can set your phone down in your car and, by speaking the destination out loud, it will locate where you want to go using Google Maps Navigation. This GPS also provides multiple display choices when finding your way around town. You can choose from street, satellite or traffic views depending on your needs. You can take care of your communication and web surfing needs very well and easily with the LG phone. If looks are very important to you, then we would still suggest you give it some consideration. Well made and priced to avoid breaking your bank is what the Optimus One is all about.
