Smart phones have found their way into the hands of billions of people throughout the world. The Nokia E6 is a front runner in the industry. There are many different things that make it special and many different types of people who are buying it. A Symbian operating system sits at the core of the E6. With this tremendous system powering all the applications the phone is a powerhouse. The handsets battery has wonderful battery life that is dependant on usage, but generally lasts from 7 to 14 hours. Standby time can be anywhere from 28 to 31 days. Customer will also have instant access to multiple Microsoft applications out of the box.

The sleek steel and glass body of the phone is popular with business professionals that want a power house that looks good while they are using it. The battery cover is removable and made from stainless steel.

The camera, speakers and flash are all surrounded by steel and Gorilla glass. This specific glass is break resistant and is used on all the screen portions of the phone.

Supporting four different GSM channels means that the device is not all looks; it has superior functionality as well. The phone also supports GPRS/EDGE technology; in addition to four different frequencies for UMTS and HSUPA on two different bands.

The E6 is unfortunately not available in Japan, Canada, Korea or the United states at this time. For fans of the Nokia company this can be a little frustrating.

Weighing in at 133g total weight, 59mm wide and 115.5mm tall the device has amazing graphics and processors. The Broadcom 3D GPU is paired with a HW accelerator to enhance game play on the handset. The capacitive multi-touch screen makes navigating quite a bit easier.

While other devices are being branded as teen or older generation phones, this model is finding its way into the hands of many different age ranges and backgrounds. A very large part of this multi-platform handset is that it has two cameras. The back camera is 8 mega pixels and has a flash. The front cameras software allows it to be used for video calling as well as pictures.

Integrated Bluetooth features make hands free use easy. Bluetooth connectivity for listening and sharing media files is also available. The 3.5mm AV port on the back helps make it easy for people to plug their phones into a television in order to share their pictures and files.

If a customer is looking for a great looking phone that is easy to use and nice to look at, they have found it. They can listen to the streaming FM radio while they are exploring all the other cool features of the phone.
