Once your configuration is complete, you will use basic techniques to test your network's connectivity.

How can you be sure that the package you sent was delivered to the correct house or business? This is where GPS System & Address Validation comes in handy. These satellites have been used for airplanes and ships in navigation for years. In more recent times hand held units have become popular and today, many cell phones have included a GPS locator. These much smaller units have made it possible to allow GPS technology to be used for such things as address verification.

If you are considering this system, you do need to take into consideration the United States government has built an error into the GPS system that allows it to be off by as much as 100 meters which is over the length of a football field. This error is included to overcome the possibility of a breach in national security. Thus, although the general area of the delivery and a very accurate time stamp can be given, the exact location may be in error.

GPS address verification is a good idea, but the delivery driver must still use the traditional visual clues to make an accurate delivery. He will still need to look at street signs and house numbers in order to get the package where it should go.

Overall the technology for this type of system is precise, but a built in error is a bug that will need to be worked out for the system to be as useful as possible.

Small Telephone Systems Versus Multi-line Business Phones

It is very important to keep up with the current advancement in technology whenever you plan to start up a business. It is very important for you at this stage that you take wise decision of investing in reliable and inexpensive business telephone systems and the telecommunication network for your business. Most of the small businesses decide to install the cheapest multi-line business phone in the market. There are some things that you must consider before you end up making a wrong investment decision and lose your money.

In most of the multi-line business phones voicemail, caller id, call waiting id, 3 way calling and intercom are the greatest attractions. All these phones have an integrated key system unit or KSU, which makes them an individual phone a complete telecommunication unit. All of the line interface and processing data for telephone and call, respectively, is carried out by the KSU or the intellect. All this ensures that the functions of this phone system are satisfactory and profitable enough for every small business. With the passage of time, when you use these systems for some time, you realise that these systems have some drawbacks.

Mostly, these units have a "KSU-less design" tag on them, which possess as a great distraction. These tags are responsible for misleading the consumers as they believe that it is a sign of their being cost-effective and inexpensive. The reality is that all these KSU units act as a line interface, which stops all the connections at the doorstep. This is a very big flaw when you are interfacing your multi-line phones with telephone company connections. As all these units work on their own as business telephone system, they all need direct lines to the telephone connections.

Moreover, every single unit need to have up to 4 pairs of wires or an equivalent standard cat5e cable because all multi-line phones can have up to 4 lines. With the expansion of your office network, more phone units will be needed, so you will have to add up more cat5e cables. Another drawback is that so many cables will make the network too much complicated, when they are cluttered on the floor, which might lead to major power breakdown within the framework.

On the other hand, single line telephone systems have separate Key System Units with every single set. In addition, one pair of wires is used with a single telephone line. By having an out-and-out KSU unit, a single interface point is required for the telephone line connections. Most systems require only a single pair of wire for a connection with an extension phone. This means that you can cut noticeably on the cable networking costs by splitting a single Cat5e cable into a maximum of 4 single handset jacks. When you add more phones to your network, it becomes hugely cost-effective.

As the format of the wiring is similar, it is very simple and easy to convert it into a larger network with just a few cable drops in the new office area. However, it becomes very difficult to do so in the case of a multi-line business phone networks. It is quite possible that you will have to disconnect your whole network if you want to upgrade or expand your network.

However, if you need 4 or less extension phones and peripherals lines, the multi-line business phones are the best option. It is a very good option for small businesses and it has more benefits than that of a single line phone.

My own advice to you is that you should initially install a single-line phone and a small business telephone system. It might seem a bit costly in the beginning, but it will be worthy for you when your business will expand.

A Brief Bio On LJ James American Biker X

I have felt and been a part of Biker Brotherhood almost all of my life. Growing up around My Father (Freelance Author on the Biker Lifestyle Pappy) and my Uncle Trey, I was taught what Biker Brotherhood was about from a very young age. As I grew up I heard many stories about the fun had at Parties, Runs and Rallies.

I also heard about protests (Mostly Helmet) I heard how Bikers were the last of the true Americans. I was taught Bikers believe in Freedom and are willing to fight for it at all costs! As I got older I attended many events and I rode allot.

I became active in Motorcycle Rights groups (mostly ABATE of NY) and I did my part to protect and promote the Biker Lifestyle, I wrote many articles in Biker Magazines and I DJed and MCed many Bike events helping to spread the word of Biker Rights.

In March of 2005 I became a Member of the Mortal Skulls MC and not long after I felt what it meant to be a part of a Motorcycle Club Brotherhood. I also got to know and learn from many members of other MC's. The more I learned and the better I got to know these Men (the world referred to as 1%ers and Outlaws) the more I realized most of these people were the best people in the world, These are the Men who made and continue to make America great! I had heard many negative things about Motorcycle Clubs over the years and the more I was grew apart of the MC life the more I realized something needed to be done.

So my focus shifted from covering parties in Magazines to writing about true Biker Brotherhood. I realized one of the things negatively effecting the Motorcycle World is no one was teaching the younger generation of Motorcycle riders what it really means to be a Biker. The rules and codes of the road where all being lost, TV Show and Docudramas where teaching a Biker History that had no basis in reality. To this day I continue look up and write down as much truth of the history of Motorcycles and the Motorcycle Club world as I can.

I was getting the word out but I wanted a way to be able to speak to Bikers so they could hear my words and feel them expressed as they came from my heart! I knew I wanted to do some kind of Biker Talk Radio Show to help get the message out there. Every radio station I spoke with was either not interested or wanted some huge amount of money up front .

One day I learned about internet Radio! I learned I could do a live show that could be heard world wide on every computer and also all the shows would be archived so they could be heard anytime from the beginning just by clicking on them. I soon started a weekly show about a half hour long each Wednesday coming up with the name "The Biker Lowdown" The show started with just me talking to people about different things going on in the Motorcycle World.

Not long after the show started I was getting weekly calls from this Guy Chuck who called himself the Alpha Biker, Checking his webpage out I quickly learned both me and Chuck were cut from the same cloth and He became the Co-host of the Biker Lowdown.

Soon after thanks to the on air Chemistry and the great radio banter between me and Chuck the show started taking off. My good friend Bjorn took over as the online webmaster creating a webpage all could be proud of.

Hammerin Hank soon joined the Biker Lowdown clan as our Research Reporter. Things just kept getting better for the show.We started getting many great guests and even a few really big names of the Motorcycle world.

When Brenda Fox came on the show one night for an interview to talk about the world of Women's Motorcycling, some where about five Minutes into the interview We all just knew We had a new member of the Biker Lowdown Family! I look forward to seeing what the Future brings for the Biker Lowdown Radio Show,

Government Spying and Me

Sometimes I'll write about something that prompts me to revisit it and wonder: should I rehash this? Have I said everything I could about a particular topic? Can I say more? Am I being redundant? Sometimes the answer to all these questions is an emphatic yes. Sometimes, it's a definitive no. Today, I think I'd like to rehash a topic that still haunts me every time I pick up my blessed iPhone.

First off, I know there is a tsunami of animus directed towards we Mac-lovers -- and for good reason. I know it's annoying to have to put up with out smugness and our superior attitude. But don't blame us -- blame Steve Jobs. He made us into the snobs we are. After all, we were just following orders. In fact, I get new orders, via my Cupertino-designed beauty everyday. I swear -- Apple is talking to us...in our minds.

In the recent past, I've written about the iPhone and its 3G network and its awesome apps, but the feature I find myself using -- trailing behind the actual phone and the email access -- is the GPS driven map. I can't tell you how many times that tracking beacon has directed me to assorted Shangri-las across this fine nation of ours. Taco stands, burger joints, coffee shops -- I'd be utterly lost without this function. I know -- what a cliche. But like all good cliches, there is truth to it.

As the fun house that is my mind bleeds out into the ever-increasing, ever-expanding cloud, I can't help but wonder...what was I talking about? Oh, yes, my GPS tracking device -- I mean, my iPhone. Without it, I'm rudderless, a mere pawn in the chess game of the Gods. With it, I defy the Gods, I stand vigilant, ready to be directed to the nearest ATM or Hot Topic store. You can never have too many racing flame high-top Chuck Taylor sneakers, you know.

The tinfoil hat set are always keen on impressing upon me the possible fact that the phone could be used against me -- as if I had some worthwhile scheme or master plan to dominate the world that was worth the effort. No, if the government wants to track me, I'd be flattered -- but I'm not picking up the tab if they show up at my local Starbucks. If they do show up, I can show them my six pages of solid apps and then maybe we could go for a walk and have dinner together. Again, I'm not paying.
